Where would you send someone?
It's the question we ask every barista, roaster and trainer we meet, and it's the only way a café gets onto CoffeeSpots. If you work in coffee, your recommendation carries weight here.
One place is enough
Not a list. One place you'd send a friend who cared, and the reason you'd send them there — the reason matters more than the name. If you think of another next month, come back.
What happens to it
We check it ourselves before anything is published. Your recommendation starts that process; the editorial call stays with us. That's what makes the count mean something: Coffee Person Proof counts people, not recommendations, and it's earned, not bought. How CoffeeSpots works →
Your name stays yours
We don't reveal who recommended a spot. Being credited, being quoted, and being listed as a contributor are three separate permissions, and we ask for each one separately if it ever comes up. Saying no to all three is normal, and it changes nothing about how your recommendation is counted.
What we don't do
We don't accept payment for listings, and we don't pay for recommendations either. This only works if it runs both ways.
